Pay attention to details!

As our kids grow up we take tons of pictures, but most of the time we are so excited about capturing their expressions and full length portraits that we forget about details. This type of picture would be pretty hard to capture once our baby is no longer a baby :)

Babies love window light!

We don’t always need to use a flash. Especially when there is beautiful and natural light coming from a window. They will probably thank you for not using so much flash once they grow up! :)

I’d like to share this photo of my daughter, which wasn’t planned for at all. She was sitting on our bed and drawing when I snapped this shot. I didn’t use any special lighting or even a flash, just the over head light from the ceiling fan. As a matter of fact my daughter didn’t
